Blogger is a blog publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. It was developed by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at a subdomain of blogspot.com. Blogs can also be hosted in the registered custom domain of the blogger (like www.example.com). A user can have up to 100 blogs per account.
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS). To function, WordPress has to be installed on a web server. It was used by more than 27.5% of the top 10 million websites as of February 2017. It is reportedly the most popular website management or blogging system on Internet that supporting more than 60 millions of website. WordPress was released on 27th of May 2003, by Matt Mulenweg and Mike Little.
