Google Drive 

One of the advantages is that it can back up photos, contacts, save email attachments and stores files when the storage of laptop or mobile phone is not enough for that. Besides, it can recognized the elements in those scanned documents. Therefore, it is easier to search one photo out of thousands by typing the element in that photo. It's not only saves space but also saves time. In addition, you can make a presentation or conduct a lecture by using Google Drive. Documents and files can be created and shared through this apps so it is convenient for people to view at the same time saving the earth without printing anything by using paper.

Gmail

Gmail is commonly used, free and search-based email services. Users only need to sign up once without logging out to see the latest notifications. Promotions, reminders, assignments wouldn't be missed out by turning on the notifications. Nowadays, students use gmail to ask for tutorial while lecturers sent their slides by using gmail as well. Therefore, even if  students missed class, they can still catch up the course. It is not only provides communication between each other, but also some news or messages sent from your subscriptions such as online shopping, so that you won't need to go to the official website to see what's really going on. Besides, it can filter spam and sensitive messages to keep you from being disturbed. The storage limits including attachments to individual messages cannot be larger than 25MB. If you need to send larger files, Google drives will be more suitable.

Calendar

People tend to have 'short term memory loss' nowadays. With this calendar, everyone can mark down the date of classes, projects' submissions, assignments' deadlines and even your birthday. It can be shared by inviting other users through Gmail. It becomes very convenient especially for businessman or lecturers whereby their schedules always changing. If you share your calendar to your clients or students, a lot of appointments and meetings can be well-arranged. By using Google Calendar, everyone can manage their time well and it can help to remember every birthdays which you don't want to miss out.


In conclusion, Google Apps such as Google Drive, Gmail and Calendar plays an important role in our daily life. We can still be good without these apps but we are better with its help. Through this task, i have found a better understanding about all these Google Apps. It has given a lot of convenience in this modern society and it can be ensured that if you know how to use these apps properly, every problems can be solved.
